Joining the South Bank University Academy Sixth Form will provide you with a unique and exciting opportunity. It is a fundamental belief that at South Bank University Academy students not only flourish academically, they also develop as young people.
We offer a bespoke curriculum and strong teaching, combined with state-of-the-art facilities to help you maximise your learning and progress. There will be considerable opportunities to develop your leadership skills in tandem with a greater sense of responsibility, and to prepare as a young adult for the next stage of your education.
We are also keen that students combine academic and vocational studies and participate in enrichment activities wherever possible which enables students to develop their wider-self, often through taught lessons, but also via independent studies.
All students will typically select either three A Level courses or a combination of A Levels and Level 3 BTEC qualifications from the start of Year 12.
Please view the prospectus for further information on all our pathways and courses.
Courses include a wide range of A levels such as Art, biology, chemistry, computer science, economics, English, geography, maths, physics, history, sociology, psychology and Spanish, plus technical courses including business studies and digital media.
Unifrog
This is a fantastic careers platform which directs students to educational opportunities, collating all available information about uni courses and apprenticeships into one accessible platform. Students are encouraged to use this early on to search for opportunities and log the progress they are making towards applications.
Enrichment
We have a wide range of enriching opportunities, supplemented by excellent personal development and wellbeing programmes, plus high quality, personalised advice and guidance.
If you missed our opening evening, please call 020 7277 3035 to arrange a tour of the academy.
