Three students holding on to their certs

Congratulations to Braeden, Sahara and Maksym for successfully completing the Royal Institution Mathematics Masterclasses at Dulwich College.

This prestigious programme brings together students from across local schools to explore mathematics beyond the GCSE curriculum. Through a series of Saturday sessions, participants are challenged with complex concepts, collaborative problem-solving and real-world applications of mathematics.

Braeden, Sahara and Maksym demonstrated outstanding commitment throughout, choosing to dedicate their weekends to academic enrichment and personal development. Their efforts reflect a strong sense of curiosity, resilience and ambition.

Students explored a wide range of topics, from voting systems and historical puzzles to advanced ideas linked to relativity. These sessions encouraged deeper thinking and provided a valuable opportunity to engage with mathematics in new and inspiring ways.

Reflecting on the experience, Maksym shared, “There were lots of new things to learn and it will help for the future. I also developed my teamwork skills.” Sahara described the programme as “inspirational and educational,” while Braeden highlighted the opportunity to meet new people, learn new ideas and feel motivated.

This is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the high aspirations and dedication shown by our students.
