South Bank University Academy (SBUA) is celebrating its best-ever Key Stage 5 results – a landmark moment in the academy’s history that reflects the hard work, ambition, and resilience of its students and staff.
This year’s A Level and BTEC achievements set new records, with the highest percentages of top grades ever awarded at the academy. These results will see students progressing to some of the most prestigious universities in the UK, including Durham, the London School of Economics, Bath, King’s College London – and for the very first time, the University of Oxford.
A Level Excellence
SBUA students achieved the academy’s highest-ever percentages for A*–A and A*–B grades, with an impressive overall pass rate. Leading the way was Ying-Han, who secured three A* grades and a place to read Physics at the University of Oxford – the academy’s first Oxbridge success. Other standout A Level results include:
