Year 11 Group Photo

This week marked a significant milestone for our Year 11 students as they completed their final GCSE examinations and celebrated the end of their secondary school journey at South Bank University Academy.

Following months of hard work, revision and determination, students finished their final exams and took part in one of the most memorable traditions of the school year: signing leavers' shirts. Throughout the day, students exchanged messages, memories and well wishes with friends, teachers and staff, creating lasting reminders of their time at SBUA.

The celebrations continued with our Year 11 Celebration Day, providing students with an opportunity to come together, reflect on their experiences and enjoy time with their peers before embarking on the next stage of their education. The event was filled with smiles, laughter and plenty of memorable moments as students marked the end of an important chapter in their lives.

For many, the occasion offered a chance to look back on the friendships they have built, the challenges they have overcome and the achievements they have accomplished during their time at the academy. From their first days at SBUA to completing their GCSEs, students have shown resilience, maturity and a commitment to their learning that has made us incredibly proud.

As they await their results this summer, we would like to congratulate all Year 11 students on reaching this milestone and thank them for the positive contribution they have made to our school community.

We wish every student the very best as they take their next steps, whether that be progressing into sixth form, college, apprenticeships or other future pathways. We look forward to seeing all they achieve in the years ahead.

Congratulations, Year 11, and thank you for being part of the SBUA community.
